Foundation
The Foundation for the Performing Arts has been established to counter the Government’s reduction of funding for the arts. We wish to find institutions that merit our contributions not only in money, most importantly in providing opportunities to talented young singers, dancers and musicians who may find the path to a better life through the arts. We are interested in bringing this tour to colleges and universities to assist in recruitment for their well-organized music programs, in an effort to expose local high schools students into the arts and help further their education in the arts.
We have teamed up with MuzArt to also reach out to elementary schools and junior high schools.
Pat Melfi, President of the MuzArt World Foundation extended the invitation to Shaun in December of last year. “Shaun is extremely talented and I am very pleased that he has decided to help spread the message of MuzArt in his upcoming Live for Music 50/50 Tour.”
MuzArt, a public charity formed late last year has the specific mission to restore arts and music education programs in Kindergarten through the 9th grade without government funding.
Organized by industry leaders in music, entertainment, and education; Pat Melfi, Ken Kragen, Ted Fujimoto, Brandon Frank, and Ellis Pailet, these like-minded individuals main focus is to ensure that music and the creative arts are funded and continue to be a vital force for good in our public schools.
On his tour Shaun will feature a selected MuzArt talent to perform the anthem of the foundation, “Each One Teach One”. “I look forward to having this important message shared at each of my 50 concerts and having my audience catch the vision and importance of music and arts programs in our schools, elementary through high school,” stated Shaun.
More information on these featured guest performers will soon be announced. If you would like to show your support for music and arts education in the schools, we will soon be accepting donations for this cause.
