Apycom jQuery Menus
What we need from participating schools:
- Secure a venue: we expect schools to help us line up an appropriate venue for our production. We prefer venues that seat over 800 people, that are already equipped with lighting and sound, and a stage large enough to fit a choir and dance ensemble. Our sound and lighting crew will take care of the technical details of the production, but they will need to communicate with a stage/facilities manager to get an idea of what equipment they will have access to, what equipment our team will need to provide, and what time they will be allowed to setup for the show. A specific tech rider can be provided. All sound checks for the concert should be at or before 4pm; doors open at 7pm and concert begins at 7:30pm.
- Prepare a song: each music ensemble interested in participating will receive the music for one song AT LEAST 2 months before the concert date. They will be expected to learn this song ahead of time and attend a rehearsal the day before the production to run through the number with Shaun Canon.
- Promote the concert: our promotional team will be in contact with your school to coordinate promotional efforts. We expect the school to assist us in spreading the word to get the students and community excited about the concert. This includes: posters, fliers, social media, morning announcements, participating in possible contests, and any other efforts that will help draw a large crowd to the concert.
